Real's traveling party was perplexed when their bus did not arrive on time after landing in the north-west of England ahead of Wednesday night's crucial semi-final, second leg, against Manchester City, with the tie hanging by a thread at 1-1.
Carlo Ancelotti, the manager, didn't appear that impressed as his group of star players milled about outside arrivals for about 40 minutes.
Karim Benzema at least found the delay amusing, but Luka Modric seemed to share his manager's annoyance.
