Erling Haaland of Manchester City reportedly sent KSI a message after Arsenal's title hopes were dashed by Brighton's 3-0 victory over them over the weekend.
Following the Gunners' loss to Brighton, Erling Haaland sent the Arsenal-supporting YouTuber-turned-boxer a vicious post on social media that made KSI furious.
The outcome all but ended Arsenal's chances of breaking their 19-year Premier League title drought; Manchester City, led by Haaland's team, is currently four points ahead with two weeks remaining in the regular season and has a game in hand.
According to KSI, the Norwegian goal machine contacted him and sent him a vitriol-laced GIF in an interview with MMA Hour.
Yet, despite him being "very angry" over Arsenal's failure, he claimed he handled it in good humor.
You have to admit, it's hilarious. Haaland messaged me literally today and sent me a GIF, according to the 29-year-old.
I'm KSI dude, that's all. Yes, I sent him a video. I won't reveal what it was, but it's hilarious to see how well he's doing and how great Man City are doing right now. I'm quite angry and find it to be incredibly humorous.
Soon after Arsenal lost to Brighton, Haaland scored City's second goal in a 3-0 victory over Everton, giving Pep Guardiola's team a chance to win the Premier League for the sixth time in six years. It was his 52nd goal of the season.
Although Arsenal isn't mathematically eliminated from the title chase yet, KSI claims that the dream is over.
"No seriously, Man City won, and the season is over. He answered, "It is what it is. "I'm still incredibly proud of Arsenal overall. The goal was Champions League, and we managed to stay in the title race for a little while," said Arsene Wenger.
After their recent exchange, fans would undoubtedly be interested in watching KSI and Haaland square off between the ropes at some point. However, despite KSI's years of boxing experience, out-scraping the former Dortmund player wouldn't be a simple task based on the scratch marks on Haaland's body after the Everton game.
