Man Utd: Wan-Bissaka is “starting to show” his capability

 The £90,000-per-week employee of Manchester United has demonstrated his ability to compete at Old Trafford under Erik ten Hag.

Journalist Dean Jones told GIVEMESPORT that Manchester United right defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka is "starting to show" that he can handle playing for Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.

This summer, there have been rumors that the Red Devils might sign a new right-back.

The Manchester Evening News claims that Manchester United and the attorneys for Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong have spoken.

Ten Hag wants to bolster his defense with another right-sided defender in the summer, thus United may be forced to offload up to three full-backs in the coming market.

The article continues by stating that ten Hag is reportedly eager to sign the former Manchester City junior star.

However, Wan-Bissaka has "turned his career around" at Old Trafford, according to Sky Sports writer Dharmesh Sheth, who recently spoke with GIVEMESPORT, suggesting that he might persuade the Dutchman to keep him on for the upcoming season.

And Jones thinks the Red Devils may have more urgent issues at center-back, center-midfield, and center-forward this summer if the 25-year-old can adapt to the Dutchman's style of play.

When asked if United could acquire a right-back in light of the team's alleged interest in Frimpong,You have the center-back, center-midfield, and center-forward positions [that need strengthening], according to Jones, who spoke to GIVEMESPORT. Choose one of those three to invest your money in.

"At this point, when Wan-Bissaka is beginning to demonstrate his ability to play the ten Hag style, it would probably be better utilised elsewhere. It's okay if they can fill the other three positions while still having money to deal with the right back. But I'm not sure if this one [Jeremie Frimpong] actually materializes.

It's unlikely that ten Hag will prioritize adding a right-back above strengthening the depth of his team's core during the summer transfer window given the performance of Wan-Bissaka.

James Maddison, a standout for Leicester City, recently hailed the £90,000 weekly salary for his defensive skills after having faced the full-back on numerous occasions over his career.

The Foxes player tweeted last month during the FA Cup semifinal between the Red Devils and Brighton & Hove Albion, in which Wan-Bissaka preserved a clean sheet in a scoreless match that saw United prevail on penalties.

"AWB is obscenely adept at defending in 1v1. Without a doubt, the best in the entire globe. When playing straight against him, so many wingers run out of ideas, Maddison tweeted.

Wan-Bissaka has demonstrated in the second half of the season that he is capable of securing the right-back position in ten Hag's side for himself after earning the respect of his rivals.

And the £50 million man will be hoping that the Dutchman continues to have faith in the full-back come season two.
